A Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with more than 30+ years of experience in the industry & received many honors and accolades over his career. Starting his career with Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Chennai, India in core Engineering and in various Project Management capacities – he gained further experience at Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation, Petronas Gas Malaysia, Chevron etc. He is currently taking responsibility as Managing Director and Chairman of all group companies. With 30 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry – JVV has been heading Project Management for major Multi-Billion $ projects such as Merapoh refinery, Kedah as well as crude gathering station, KOC Kuwait. He has led engagements with leading Oil majors - Madras Refineries (presently owned by Indian Oil Corporation), Chevron, Petronas, Kuwait National Petroleum Corp, Ranhill, ONGC, HPCL, BPCL and involved in Projects Feasibility and Configuration Study of Two Major Refinery Projects and Management Role for successful acquisition of CO2 Plant Assets from PETRONAS and Relocation including acquisition of 4 Biodiesel Plant Assets in Malaysia for Refurbishment and Turnaround of the Business

Major experience is in the Contracting and Procurement functions having worked with Oil majors Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) India, Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation Ltd (KNPC) and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait. He is experienced in contract strategy, bidding and procurement management and handled many EPC contracts.
